Drugs and Alochol

Tameside Pride has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and legal highs. Should you be found with either a controlled substance or herbal or legal high when entering the event you will be denied entry.

If you are found within the Pride area with a controlled substance/ herbal/legal high you will be asked to leave the area.

No external alcohol will be allowed on the site. There will be a bar onsite selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You must be over 18 years of age to purchase alcohol. We will be operating a challenge 21 policy. Should you look under 21 we will be asking you for ID, please do not be offended.


Privacy

At Tameside Pride ("Tameside Pride", "us", "we", "our") we take the privacy of your information and how we handle it very seriously. We believe that any data we hold on you is totally safe and in line with the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in 2018, we have implemented a strong data privacy policy and this will safeguard you ensuring that you're protected to the best extent we can.

Our policy outlines what we collect; how we use it and the safeguards we put in place to protect it. We have implemented a number of securities.

This Privacy Policy applies to Tameside Pride website and communication and will be reviewed on a regular basis and was last reviewed in February 2019, we post any updates on our website and can email it on request.

We have minimised the personal data we hold on you therefore we only ask for your email and name when registering to receive our newsletter or when you fill out our contact us form. Payments are processed by a third party and no payment or credit/debit card information is stored on our server.

How your information will be used

We may email you regarding updates in our newsletter or when corresponding with you. We will never sell, exchange or transfer your email address to a third party (with the exception of our payment processor for reasons of payment receipt confirmations) for any reason whatsoever. The email address we hold is stored on a secure system.

Marketing

Occasionally we would like to send you information about our own products and services by email. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes by contacting us (see: 'How to contact us' at the end of this policy) or by unsubscribing from receiving future emails by using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of each email.

Below is a list of external data providers that we use and links to their privacy policies. The majority of providers cannot and do not collect personal data on you, we deal with them directly and 'cache' information for multiple users' visits to save resources.

We cannot be held responsible for content of external sites, but we will strive to ensure the websites we link to are not malicious but cannot guarantee that they become infected. All the sections of our website that deal with payments are 100% secure (as demonstrated by the padlock in your browser and use of HTTPS protocols), but whilst we aim to serve all our content over HTTPS, it may not be possible for all content.

The privacy policies that cover our pages/feeds on social media networking websites are available directly on the relevant network's platform. We have listed the policies of networks/platforms we use most, but is not exhaustive, and does not cover 'new' services that we may use.
