Tameside Pride intends to promote LGBT+ equality and inclusion within Tameside bringing the community together to celebrate diversity and put the Proud back in Pride.
Saturday 15th June will be Tameside Pride 2024 with a daytime event in Cheetham's Park, Stalybridge which will be free-to-enter and a ticketed evening event. More information on the day can be found here. We are also holding a number of fundraising events before July, and you can keep up to date on the latest information on those here.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Tameside Pride is solely ran by volunteers from the Tameside community. Each of us is passionate about ensuring we provide an equal and accessible event, you can find out more about us further down the page in the 'Meet the Team' section.
The North West has the second highest proportion of the population identifying as LGB (ONS, 2016) so we want to ensure there is a free and local event where people will feel included and supported.
After Tameside Pride 2024 (and the years before), should there be any surplus funds these will be used to support local LGBT+ groups in the area and to improve the event for 2025.

Everything we do is designed to be inclusive and Tameside Pride welcomes all members of the LGBT+ community including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, non-binary and all straight and cis allies.
